ProJeCt : ToTecHniKa

Worklog: Here
He took the community by storm with his first mod
Project: AnG3L which won April's MOTM and will also be featured in the forthcoming Issue 76 of Custom PC magazine. The question is how does AnG3L beat his massively popular mod?
Well he's certainly giving it a go with more copious amounts of crazy design work, engraving, painting and countless other things that suggest ProJeCt : ToTecHniKa will be just as eye-popping as Project: AnG3L. The attention to detail is pretty special as are AnG3L's engraving skills. As if there wasn't enough value added to his project log already, AnG3L has made a video of his painting techniques which you can see in his log or on
Youtube.
The case of choice this time is a Thermaltake Armour which AnG3L has stripped down ready for some modding. The next step was to cut as much steel out of the case as possible and remove the black paint. This centre section on the side panel was also removed.
The drive cages also came under the Dremel apparently to fashion a new one from the salvaged parts. Through a process of applying several coats of primer and paint, AnG3L walks us through his painting techniques that certainly seem to be popular in our forums. He then grates the undried paint, sands it and then adds more layers to give the rippled effect.
After stenciling designs onto wood, AnG3L pyrographed the patterns onto the wood. This has an awesome look once finished and the various sections presumably of the exterior quickly appear in his project log. It's certainly one of the most unique designs we've seen here on
bit-tech yet still typical of what we'd expect to see from AnG3L.
The pyrograph was out again for more sections of ProJeCt : ToTecHniKa. The wood had brown paint rubbed into it to give it an aged look like furniture. It's certainly very different to all the other nominees this month but it's sure to be popular and should look very interesting when it's done.
If you'd like to vote for AnG3L's amazing work head over to our forum

That's all for this month and we certainly don't evny you having to choose one of these fantastic mods to vote for! We wish all of our contenders the very best of luck!
